Sangre De Cristo Broadcasting Co., Inc (SDC Broadcasting) began its journey in 1995 when purchasing 540 KNMX in Las Vegas, NM. 540 KNMX became the first station to play New Mexico Spanish Music 24-hours a day.

Over the years, SDC Broadcasting has acquired many popular radio stations that broadcasts out to parts of Southern Colorado, West Texas, the Oklahoma Panhandle, the Southwest corner of Kansas and most of Northeastern and Central New Mexico. It’s current family of stations include: MIX 96, 540 KNMX, Q102 (the only station in the Albuquerque metro to play 60’s and 70’s hits), 92.7 The Bull and Groovin’ Oldies.

Today, SDC Broadcasting continues to thrive under the operation of Matt and Martha Martinez and their talented staff.

SDC Broadcasting is a proud recipient of over 70 NMBA Excellence in Broadcast Awards, while 540 KNMX has won Station of the Year 7 times at the Golden Mics Awards. SDC Broadcasting’s very own DJs have won numerous individual awards and are highly recognized by their peers in local and statewide organizations.
